Friends,
I am proud to live
in the greatest country in the world. This weekend we celebrate our
independence. I am pleased to say that my daughter that lives in Chicago came
home for the holiday weekend.
I love being with
friends, with family, taking a day off of work, watching fireworks and
celebrating.
I hope you get to
spend some quality time with family and friends this weekend. (And while you are at it, maybe discus a family vacation or a get
away with some friends).
I want to thank

Westin Ka’anapali Ocean
Resort Villas

Not so long ago Art and I tried a new
experience. We did a condo in Florida
with another couple. We were not sure if
we would like it as we always have done hotels only. Let me tell you it was fantastic. The reason I am bringing this up is because
this property reminds me of our trip only it is in Maui.
The Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas actually are
two u-shaped buildings with different lobbies.
These villas are phenomenal. Everything
you could possibly need to feel at home is in these villas. The kitchen has a glass cooktop
stove, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, detergent,
glasses, blender and silverware. There
is a built in washer and dryer, a pull out couch, color TV, DVD player,
cordless phones and a private lanai. The beds are all sweet sleepers and
ultra-comfortable. All units have a
whirlpool tub with separate shower. The
amenities include a heated pool, children’s pool, Jacuzzi, lighted tennis
courts, BBQ’s gas grills for out door cooking,
business center, meeting/banquet rooms, concierge, game room, fitness center,
beauty salon, gift/sundry shop, pool bar and grill and even two general market
stores right on property. These markets
offer many pre-made food options also.
They make it so easy for you to be here, that you can even preorder your
food to be there when you arrive. There
are daily housekeeping services so you still feel like you are on vacation but
better because you feel at home. There
is a dining room and a living room with couches. In some units you can actually
sleep 5 comfortably.
If you want time alone there is also a Keki
camp for kids to attend. It also offers
them things to do on the occasional rainy day.
The hotel has direct beach access, as well as an intricate pool area
with tropical landscaping, palm trees and plenty of lounge chairs.
There are three restaurants on property also. The Ke’kaa Terrace
is unbelievable. We were fortunate
enough to have dinner there one evening.
The food was exceptional. The
presentation alone was breathtaking.
Everything was so good that we all asked to taste each others meals. I have
been to many exceptional restaurants and this was
right on the top. If
you do not stay on property, at least make a reservation for a dinner here
while in Maui. You will not
regret it.
Please remember
that we have “bulk air” to Vegas on the commercial carriers if we sell the
whole package.
